Nationwide efforts in achieving Wawasan Brunei 2035 was among the major motions deliberated at the Second Meeting of the 21st Legislative Council session at Dewan Majlis building. Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council in a speech said the second session will provide Ex-Officio Members the opportunity to share the government's initiatives that support national development agendas.

The Legislative Council needs to act as an avenue for the exchange of ideas and solution to improve policies and the people's life, and should also act as a bridge between the government and the people. Members of the Legislative Council must carry out the responsibilities collectively for the nation's development.
